Rehabilitación del revestimiento del muro afectado por la humedad, posterior al tratamiento antihumedad.

Para comprender la importancia de restaurar el paramento o revestimiento del muro tras la aplicación de un tratamiento antihumedad, primero exploraremos las fases del tratamiento y del control de secado.

Tratamiento Antihumedad:

Cuando nos enfrentamos a un problema de humedades en una edificación, en la mayoría de los casos, tenemos elementos visibles de deterioro del revestimiento del muro: abombamiento de la pared, rodapiés en mal estado, manchas de humedad, presencia de moho, salitre, etc.

Todas estas afecciones son como consecuencia de un porcentaje alto de humedad en el interior del muro, este exceso de humedad se hace visible en el revestimiento.

Cuando Iberdeco humedades realiza un tratamiento antihumedad está actuando directamente en la raíz del problema, es decir está incidiendo sobre los elementos constructivos del muro, no sobre el paramento o revestimiento de este.

Si sustituimos únicamente el paramento afectado sin realizar la impermeabilización del propio muro, estaremos actuando de forma completamente inocua contra la base causante del problema de humedades, Aunque eliminamos los efectos visibles de la humedad temporalmente, estos volverán a aflorar, ya que el muro seguirá absorbiendo la humedad procedente de la tierra donde está asentada la edificación.

Llegados a este punto, tenemos claro que la única forma de acabar para siempre con un problema de humedad estructural ya sea por capilaridad o por filtración lateral es actuando sobe el interior del muro afectado.

Control de secado:

Una vez que hemos realizado el tratamiento antihumedad, sabemos a ciencia cierta, que el interior del muro ya no volverá a absorber nunca más humedad. No óbstate, Iberdeco Humedades se asegurará pasados seis meses aproximadamente después del tratamiento de que esto es así. En nuestro posterior control de secado, extraeremos pequeñas muestras del interior del muro. Someteremos estas muestras al test de carburo, que nos indicará el porcentaje de humedad real presente en el muro.

Un ejemplo: En la mayoría de los casos, el porcentaje de humedad presente en un muro afectado suele ser de más del 20%, pudiendo llegar a porcentajes mucho más elevados

Transcurridos seis meses desde del tratamiento, en el control de secado el resultado oscilará entre el 2 y el 4%.

El código técnico de edificación fija el valor máximo permitido en un 7%

Una vez superado el test de Carburo, Iberdeco Humedades entrega su garantía de 30 años, pero con el requisito indispensable de que se realice la rehabilitación del paramento de forma correcta.

¿Por qué es tan importante rehabilitar el revestimiento del muro en las zonas tratadas, si el muro ya está seco?

Efectivamente el muro ya está seco, pero el revestimiento en su día se vio afectado por un exceso de agua, estas aguas procedentes del terreno arrastran minerales que se depositan en el revestimiento, lo que conocemos como sales higroscópicas. Si no las retiramos adecuadamente, estas sales seguirán absorbiendo humedad, no la proveniente del muro, ya que este está completamente seco, pero si absorberán la humedad ambiente. Por lo tanto, de no rehabilitar, que seguiremos sufriendo esos efectos visibles tan indeseados. Aunque hayamos acabado con el problema grave de humedad y ya no peligre la estructura del muro.

En conclusión, la rehabilitación es el último paso necesario para que el tratamiento antihumedad sea completamente eficaz.
